MFA, Musuem of Fine Arts, Boston field trip!

MFA, Musuem of Fine Arts, Boston field trip for grades 7 & 8 is scheduled for May 8. Please have trip payment in by April 26. Thank you.   3rd quarter ends Friday. Grades close.   All classes are now drawing the manikin. We are studying proportions, line weight and shading using various media.  The 7th and 8th grades just finished a unit on printmaking.  Examples of the work are hanging on the bulletin board outside the cafeteria.  The 6th graders recently finished a unit on Egyptian art. The showcase displays clay pots, jewelry and relief wall carvings. Please stop in to see these awesome works.
